Queen Lrg Vase Palermo

It’s always fun finding something so distinctly European for our lines – the Queen Lrg Vase Palermo does feel like a little trip to an old town on Sicily, where these sorts of traditional heads do dominate not just contemporary ceramic work but architecture as well. This modern homage is a subtle way to bring a bit of that into Australian homes and offices, where it can be a real showpiece thanks to the neutral white and green palette and the glossy finish. The vase has this incredibly detailed crown at the top and is meant for florals or some kind of sculptural arrangement that spills over, but we have seen retailers use it solo too. The 21.1x21x29cm dimensions mean it doesn’t have quite the scale of installation art but it works very well by itself thanks to that high gloss finish and all those intricate details.
