Our Moroque mugs are the type of ceramic range that makes it to the front shelf in a lot of shops. They’ve got one of those really lovely folk patterns and that’s probably why they get such a good response from customers - we do find these always perform well through homeware shops, newsagents, gift retailers or even independents with a bit of a boho vibe. We have these available in a pack of four with complementary but clearly different colour schemes – gentle neutrals, ocean blues and then two bolder variations in blue and red. We do like the fact each one feels like a little collection rather than duplicates – but that helps them sell as both singles or as mixed sets for people who want to put together an assorted set for themselves.
These are made from ceramic, are 8.5cm across and 10.5cm tall, so that’s a pretty substantial size for people who like their tea or coffee on the larger side. The handles stick out nicely so there’s no awkward finger gripping! There’s something about this shape that is so inviting in shop displays – something about the comforting curve and mug thickness just encourages people to pick them up. We’re not sure why exactly but they always get a lot of hands-on attention.
These look great with rattan baskets, natural timbers, or really any homewares display inspired by organic materials – we’ve seen retailers pair them with rustic wood serving boards for Christmas gifting too which looks really nice. They’re boxed with our branding on but you can take them out to make your own sets if you’re running an in-store promotion.
There aren’t too many delicate bits on these so we find they’re quite durable for regular use at home or even in small office settings where you want things to look good but also last past the first few rounds of dishwashing. And not many mugs look this good at this price point either which is why these usually move quickly - if you have customers who really care about both form and function, these are worth keeping on display year-round.
