Ducks Sml Assorted Patterns - 7x2x10cm
Whimsical ducks in an assorted hand-painted floral patter - retailers just cannot go wrong with these. They are charming, stand out, and have all of the rustic qualities we want to see from countryside-inspired accent pieces. Our Ducks Sml Assorted Patterns measure at a fairly compact 7x2x10cm so they don’t overtake the space you set aside for it, and they’re also light enough that they just sort of blend into their setting if you want them to. It works best as something you bring out in spring or summer time because of the pastel palette, but if we’re being honest a lot of our retail buyers like using it for autumn displays too.
They can be used for sprucing up a study table at work or even thrown together on a shelf in the bedroom. The natural raffia bow ties it all together while still bringing attention to the ducks themselves (the hand-finished ones obviously). You’ll find soft lines and muted gradients on most of these with a slightly rougher finish on others. What retailers can appreciate is that some have a matte finish with only minimal brushwork - just enough to give these an edge.
The thing about ducks is how colourful their feathers can get especially under sunlight (which would make sense if you’re looking for animal-inspired nature-themed accents for your summer collection). These have yellows, pinks, reds, and all sorts of leafy green patterns all over. The figurines are made entirely out of MDF wood except for the bow around its neck - and each duck is hand finished which means there’s going to be little differences between one figurine and another.
We find that what clients notice first is how clever the shape is; that upturned beak makes all the difference when put together with those round bodies. If we had to choose between acrylic plastic and MDF wood as far as texture goes, it’s going to be MDF every time, but that isn’t really true unless you’re comparing ducks shaped animals for spring/summer centrepieces for homes right now.
