This cast iron piece is one of those finds that keeps winning attention, even when it looks like it’s just minding its own business at a doorway. Measuring 13x5x4cm, it’s compact enough to go anywhere but sturdy enough to actually keep a door open - none of those annoying slips every time someone walks past.
The finish works with all sorts of looks: beachy, vintage, rural, modern rustic. Bit of a clever chameleon that way. Blends in with timber and white paint, or adds a touch of whimsy to polished concrete or colourful tiles.
