There’s something about blue birds that always makes one stop and stare for a second. These ones are soft, almost pale blue with just enough white and grey accents to really bring them to life. Maybe it’s the way those feathers overlap across the back - you can see each outline go further back towards the tail.
We’re talking about a fairly compact design at 8x3x4.5cm so these are more about that statement - not table bells, nothing functional, but somewhere on the shelf or windowsill.
The texture’s interesting too; closer up you see fine etching running throughout all of that glossy resin which plays off well with any backdrop light thanks to this delicate layer of glitter all around wings and tail.
And if you were wondering about why they work so well together, perhaps it comes down to those orange beaks and little black eyes peeking through amidst an almost universal palette elsewhere; there is just enough contrast here without pulling focus away from your other decorative pieces!
