It's the flags that do it for us. That, and how it's not actually a birdhouse - it's just this lovely hand-crafted ornament that will brighten up your shop and customers' tables alike. The Beach House Flags ornament is a rather cute little pairing of two hand-painted beach huts perched on an 11x4x10cm driftwood base, decorated with bunting strung between the houses.

A little bit nautical and certainly playful, our Beach House Flags ornament is a coastal pick-me-up that's entirely handcrafted. Each piece is individually detailed using paint and wax so there are bound to be inconsistencies in each unit - but that’s what gives it its unique touch, we find. At 11x4x10cm, these definitely sit on the compact end of ornamental decor for shelves and nightstands but they can look just as interesting displayed next to vases or candles. With two houses sitting side by side connected at their base and roof with bunting, you get this sense of character from the item which is brought out with those distinct brushstrokes (handmade) if you take a closer glance. The colours themselves aren’t loud or pastels so we’ve noticed that they blend in easily with more rustic interior styles - especially when placed between other wood trinkets, ceramics, glassware, etc.
