Stool Dinosaur Stompy

Here’s something that’s become a bit of a favourite lately, especially with parents and grandparents shopping for kids’ rooms or family gifts. Stompy - our dinosaur stool - has a lovely soft look but is sturdy enough to sit on. It’s got this sweet smile and gentle, rounded shape that makes it really inviting to touch. The colours are a sort of soothing pastel blue, beige, and yellow so it feels playful but not over-the-top garish like some other novelty kids’ products we’ve seen around. This is polyester fabric with polyfill so you get that tactile softness but there’s MDF inside for actual structure and strength. We tell our retail partners to expect roughly 66.5cm x 23cm x 59cm overall, but these do come out slightly different each time since they’re handmade in batches. We’ve found Stompy fits beautifully into all sorts of spaces: playrooms and bedrooms, obviously, but we’ve also seen them snapped up as quirky accents in waiting rooms, reception lounges, even child-friendly retailers and clinics wanting that welcoming touch. The design isn’t hyper-realistic - it reads more ‘friendly cartoon’ than ‘prehistoric beast’ - so there’s nothing menacing here to put off sensitive little ones or grownups seeking calming decor lines. It does the job as a kid’s stool or somewhere to plop down quickly in a hallway, but most people who take one home seem to love it as a statement piece with extra function. If you stock one in your display window or near the till counter - bet you’ll see people patting it or grinning at it as they pass by.
