Spreaders S/2 Mermaid Tail These were kind of a surprise hit for us and have become a really solid seller - we actually still love them as much now as when they first arrived. The design is eye-catching and detailed but not so quirky it couldn’t work in more understated stores. They look expensive too, which can be a gamechanger for perceived value in gifting or entertaining sections. This set of two spreaders is from Festivo. It’s sturdy, very shiny (not that easy to capture in photos but they are) and feels like good weight. Not your average, budget-feeling novelty. Each piece has a beautifully textured mermaid tail on the handle and a flat, rounded blade for soft cheeses, spreads, tapenades or dips. At 14.5x10.5x2.5cm they’re a really comfortable size and big enough to stand out on grazing boards without taking over. We’ve done well with these both as giftwares and summer homewares lines. They present very well in their hardcase window box too - little to no extra merchandising effort required at all. They’re metal but they are not dishwasher safe and are recommended for hand wash only.
