Stocking jars isn’t anything new, but this one - it’s quite different. We find that most plain jars are a little too pared back, or they’re overly rough and unrefined. The Paola Jar is neither, and yet it manages to be both at the same time; you know what we mean? It’s not so minimal that it lacks an identity, and yet it’s not so rustic that you lose the sense of modern elegance about it.
We talk about minimalist design being bright with plenty of clean lines - almost boring sometimes. And rustic style feels really niche to some customers (it can be hit-or-miss). But the hand-thrown aspect gives these 16x16x12cm cement jars something special.
They seem neat enough for contemporary homes - excuse us - living spaces…while also feeling like they were pulled from a farmhouse kitchen. And these ones definitely lean more decorative than functional but your customers have plenty of options for where to put them and why!
