Now this one is a real surprise. When we first brought it in, we weren’t sure what kind of home this Jug Water would end up in - or if it would even end up in the kitchen at all. It’s the sort of piece that looks right at home on a bookshelf. Or on a side table, maybe with some dried blooms spilling over its brim. Perfectly happy to be on display as is too, just with the light bouncing off its softly ribbed base. The part we’re most enamoured with is how it’s not quite perfect - and that adds so much more personality. The handmade process makes each ceramic stoneware jug a bit different. That naturally earthy finish at the top, for instance? Sometimes it’s more textured than others but you know that’s because someone actually shaped it by hand. About 22cm tall and 17cm wide, can be used anywhere really - workspaces, bedrooms and even shops as a vase display!
