Ah, it’s always nice when you can introduce something a little playful to the homewares section, isn’t it? We’ve got our Glass Gift S/4 Ocean Novelty, and they're really quite charming - especially for anyone after something a bit more fun in their glassware. Each glass has its own little handmade blue sea creature inside. Sea turtle, whale, seahorse, mermaid – you get the idea – which does mean every set is slightly unique. They’re clear enough to feel quite modern but quirky enough that they’ll work just as well with a more eclectic or coastal themed décor. Customers will definitely have a giggle deciding who gets which marine guest. They’re 42 x 11.5 x 15cm - so not enormous but generous enough for most people’s beverages of choice.
And just worth mentioning: these need hand washing because those little sea creatures are delicate and we’d hate to see any casualties by dishwasher. Great quality glass and thoughtful packaging (which isn’t credited, by the way). These do make for lovely presents too since there are four in a set and they fit so many customer types - teachers, friends, hard-to-buy-for family members – it’s a practical but whimsical option for any store looking to draw in shoppers with things they can’t find elsewhere.
