Glass Bird Florence

Handblown glass bird in a pretty soft green and gold colour. These are beautiful on a tree, hanging in a window, or styled on a mantlepiece. I’ve also seen them perched inside a large glass cloche and it looks amazing! A really special addition to any Christmas range.

We think the Glass Bird Florence is just brilliant. It’s got that lovely, rounded little bird shape that’s full of character without being fussy. People are drawn to it - we all have had customers pick them up for a closer look, just because they’re so sweet and a bit different. Each piece is hand finished, so you do see slight variations in the colouring and finish. That uniqueness is what people want now though - something that doesn’t feel mass-produced. At 10x5x7cm, these sit beautifully on a desk or shelf without taking over the space. The glass really does play with the light nicely and fits in almost anywhere: amongst potted plants, alongside books, or tucked into a window display. These work in homes obviously, but also people use them for office desks or even as a little accent on cafe tables. They’re understated but still make an impression - those sorts of pieces are hard to find these days, we think.
