Blue on white, sharp detail everywhere, and those hints of old-world print-work? The Bird Vintage Blue’s genuinely a clever use of colour and pattern. It manages to capture both the simplicity of a single shade - that’s blue, obviously - but also brings in this abundance by going all-in with intricate pattern work. Run your hands across it - it’s smooth, comes out about 17x9.5x10cm.
That’s enough for table arrangements or just having around the kitchen bench, and while we get that it could feel hard to match with other centrepiece ornaments, it just feels like something you could see yourself stacking on shelves when you’re unsure what else would go together.
It is handcrafted ceramic after all. Glazed over properly too so you get that shine. And because these are individually finished there’ll be variation between each piece which can add that handmade charm if put in the right context.
We do have to say they’re sealed on the inside so if you’re after planters specifically, let us know as those come with holes and plastic plugs built into them already.
