These playful sets of notebooks – what is it about vintage sardine tins that feels so cool, anyway? - might be a bit whimsical but they’re quite practical as well. They’ve got 32 lined pages each, the sheets are 80gsm so you can use a bunch of different pens and markers without too much bleed through, and they’re a handy mid-sized notebook at 10.5x18cm each so there’s space for actual notes but they aren’t massive, either.
We like the illustrations on these: striped backgrounds in blue/green/pink along with a fish design, a lobster, and sardines. Coastal themes tend to do better as we get closer to the summer months but these have plenty of appeal for urban shops as well thanks to how stylised they are (the lobster doesn’t even have eyes, which is something we hear customers talk about).
