We think every shop that stocks gifts, homewares or decor bits and bobs could use a plush monkey like this. What makes the Plush Marcelle Monkey so lovely is how soft it feels - it's made from polyester and is just the right size at 19x16x33cm for a cuddle or two. The face is gentle, sweet. And that little tail has a personality all its own.
The brown colourway goes with almost any palette, making it easy for customers to picture in playrooms, nurseries or even as a cheerful touch in a living space. It stands up on its own too, so you can put it on a shelf and have its cute expression greet you every morning.
It’s got a bit of quirky character - not so much that it’ll clash with other pieces though. And while lots of people might see this as just for kids, we’ve had friends who are adults add them to offices or bedrooms because they just love the look of it. Adds warmth anywhere it goes. Easy to clean too, just wipe with a damp cloth and that fluffy fur will be back to looking fresh in no time.
This one always disappears off the shelves at markets and fairs when we take it along, probably because it brings out that inner kid - in everyone!
