There’s a sort of playful drama about the Lamp Whale Pod that we really - yes, actually can get quite passionate about. While we do love a lamp with bright blue whales or bolder prints for a nautical-themed collection, those can be tricky to pair as statement decor. What is it about this whale pod design? It’s understated yet incredibly tactile. The motif all around the ceramic base is soft but deep enough to see from far away, textured yet comfortably smooth in an off-matte white finish that never fights with surrounding furniture.
The 30x30x52.5cm size and matching light beige linen drum shade lends it those versatile lines that makes it work just as well at centre stage as on smaller tables in nooks across both home and office spaces. But our favourite bit is the gold accent trim right at the top of the base which gives it an oh-so-subtle elegance that won’t go out of style soon.
