Doorstop Stretching Cat

Cats in art and furniture can be a hit-or-miss thing, but our Doorstop Stretching Cat manages to bring out the best of both. It's functional and ornamental at once, a feline cast in iron stretching away on a metallic bronze wedge that won't budge when you kick the door open for fresh air. It measures 15x4.5x9.5cm so it does what it's meant to without feeling bulky, but because of the way the cast iron is moulded and finished you get those subtle rough bits of texture that feel almost weathered - a deliberate aged look that makes this more than just your usual mass-produced kitten stuff. The tail curled up adds another dimension to an otherwise fairly straight-edged object, which helps break up lines when placed next to other similarly angular items like umbrella holders or shoe racks by the entryway - and that's probably what will attract customers: its understated playful vibes being somewhat at odds with how industrial it feels without ever being overwhelming or obviously misplaced. For retailers looking for whimsical accessories that have clear value beyond just looks, we can't recommend this enough!
