Book Box S/2 Sardinia
Pop these on a shelf and you’re instantly transported to the Portuguese coast - we really mean it. The washed lobster and sardine art, the Mediterranean blue tones… that’s what your buyers are seeing as soon as they walk in the door. We often see retailers use them to merchandise up-market condiments, cookbooks or mid-range kitchenware and we’ve heard they work well in spas and bath shops too! The L: 24x18x6cm/ S: 18x12x4cm set is handy for stashing away tea towels or napkin sets, too - which makes cross-selling pretty easy.

You know when you stumble across something that just makes a display pop? Book Box S/2 Sardinia is up there. We really rate this set as a conversation starter – or maybe it’s more of a showstopper. Could be both. Either way, these are beautifully put-together MDF and canvas storage boxes (24x18x6cm and 18x12x4cm) but they easily double as bookcase centrepieces. They have this vibrant print front with the Maritime Portugal/Lisbon illustrations; the lobster painting on one, lemons and sardines festival on the other - but then also this vintage imitation gilded spine detail that gives it a European antique feel.
We realise not every theme will mesh with something so playful, but the Mediterranean vintage element means it slides right into nautical, cottagecore, boho, and eclectic window fronts alike. It even fits into kitchen shelves without looking too kitschy or intrusive. Either way your customers can stash things in it too - and isn’t everything better when it’s functional as well as unique?
